Education and specialty training
Dr. J. Eric Moore graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He then completed his endodontic specialty training at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
That additional training is focused on diagnosing tooth pain and treating disease or injury affecting the dental pulp and tissues surrounding the root.
A thoughtful approach to care
Dr. Moore is known among colleagues for his professional ethics, compassion for the patients he treats, and skill in endodontic therapy. He takes time to review the evidence behind a diagnosis, explain the available options, and help each patient understand the recommended next step.
The practice also coordinates closely with general dentists. When a tooth needs a crown or another final restoration after endodontic treatment, that handoff is an important part of the overall plan.
At home in the Midwest
Dr. Moore was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. After completing his education, he and his wife fell in love with the Midwest and chose to make it home. They have been married since 1989, have three children, and value time spent together as a family.
